Important Notice: Road Closure

Central Ave at Lemon Grove Ave Closed Starting on September 3, 2024

Central Ave at Lemon Grove Ave will close to westbound and eastbound vehicular traffic for Phase 1-2 of the Connect Main Street Project. The affected area will remain open to pedestrians. The road closure is projected to last for approximately 4 weeks. Detour routes will be indicated.  

The purpose of the road closure is to provide for pavement and striping improvements around the MTS rail crossing, a sidewalk and an ADA ramp on the southwest side of Central Ave/Lemon Grove Ave, landscaping, and minor traffic signal modifications.
