NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City Council of the City of Lemon Grove will hold a Public Hearing to consider Appeal No. AA2-200-0007 Regarding the Planning Commission decision made on April 22, 2024 approving a Conditional Use Permit No. CUP-220-0001. Under consideration is a Wireless Communications Facility that would include a 70-foot mono-broadleaf tower and associated equipment at the property located at 6970 San Miguel Avenue (APN: 479-240-06-00) in the Residential Low Medium (RLM) zone. Under consideration is a Wireless Communications Facility that would include a 70-foot mono-pine tower and associated equipment at the property located at 6970 San Miguel Avenue (APN: 479-240-06-00) in the Residential Low Medium (RLM) zone. See Public Hearing Notice for additional details.

Request for Bids

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lemon Grove, California will accept sealed bids at City Hall, 3232 Main Street, Lemon Grove, CA 91945 until 1:00 p.m. Thursday April 18, 2024. Bids shall be submitted in plain, sealed envelopes, marked on the outside with the project title: Citywide Roof Replacement Project, No. 24-03. The City of Lemon Grove is requesting bids from qualified contractors to undertake roof replacements at four various City facilities, consisting of removal and disposal of the existing roof, inspection of the roof deck, installation of new roofing material, and proper disposal of roofing debris. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 9, 2024, at 9:00 AM at City Hall located at 3232 Main Street, Lemon Grove, CA 91945.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City Council of the City of Lemon Grove will hold a Public Hearing to consider the 2023 General Plan Annual Progress Report in accordance with Government Code Section 65400(a)(2). The State requires an annual report to the legislative body, the Office of Planning and Research, and the Department of Housing and Community Development that includes the status of the General Plan, the City’s progress toward meeting its share of regional housing needs pursuant to Section 65584 and local efforts to remove governmental constraints to housing pursuant to Government Code Section 65583(c)(3). See Notice for additional details.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Lemon Grove will hold a Public Hearing to consider modifications to an existing open space easement at 7015 Lermas Court, Lemon Grove, CA 91945. Under consideration is a request to reduce the size of the open space easement based on a new Drainage Study.

Rent Stabilization Urgency Ordinance

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Lemon Grove will hold a Public Hearing to consider a Mobile Home Park/Recreational Vehicle Park Rent Stabilization Urgency Ordinance. Under consideration is a request to adopt an urgency ordinance aimed at stabilizing rents at mobile home parks/recreational vehicle parks.

Summary and Adoption of Ordinance No. 464

City of Lemon Grove Ordinance No. 464 amends language to Chapter 8.20 (Massage Therapy Practice-Local Licensing), 17.16.070 (General Commercial (GC) Zone), 17.24.090 (Nonconforming Uses, Structures and Lots), and Chapter 18.28 (Adult Entertainment) of the Lemon Grove Municipal Code related to Massage Establishments. This Ordinance was introduced at a Regular City Council Meeting held on November 21, 2023 and adopted at the December 5, 2023 City Council meeting.

CDBG FY 2024-25 (PDF)

Public Hearing to consider the recommended project to be funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The estimated allocation to be considered is $121,889. This amount represents an allocation for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025. All funds will be
utilized within the FY 2024-2025 period.
